Torque Wrench Technical Details

Torque setting
Torque setting is adjusted and set by simply pulling out and pushing in the slide-in knob at the end of the handle. A “tell tale” ring on the slide-in knob indicates that the wrench is in the setting position and helps to prevent inadvertent misadjustment of the wrench.


Micrometer scale
Fine adjustments can be made with the white micrometer scale - Depending on the model, divisions of 1/ 0.5/ 0.1 or 0.025 Nm can be adjusted accurately

KS Torque Wrenches are factory calibrated in accordance with DIN EN ISO 6789. The calibration is performed by comparison with standards set down by ‘DKD’ (Deutsche Kalibrierdienst) the German National Accreditation Authority. Under a European Multilateral Agreement (see Document EA01/08) DKD is recognised as of equal standing, and equally acceptable, to the UK National Standards as set down by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service, ‘UKAS’.
